Dr Mackinnon is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and began working in the field of skin cancer medicine in 2010. She holds a Certificate in Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine (UQ) and a Certificate in Advanced Dermoscopy and Dermal Imaging (UQ).
