Newcastle Skin Check has been involved with melanoma and skin cancer research since 2012. Through this research our goal is to improve patient diagnosis, treatment and outcomes.

Members of Newcastle Skin Check recently attended Hunter Melanoma Foundation luncheon with Deborah Hutton.
Dr Azzi and Dr Lilleyman recently volunteered their time for Spot Check at Cooks Hill Surf Club, where they checked 245 community members, and identified 52 suspected skin cancers, including 6 suspected melanomas.
