Surgical excision is considered to be the most effective way of removing skin cancer.
Our patients have two surgical options:
1. As a public patient in our Charlestown or Toronto clinic.
Both our Charlestown and Toronto clinics contain state-of-the-art procedure rooms, fully equipped for our highly skilled staff to perform simple and more complex excisions using the most current techniques. Excisions conducted at our facilities are performed under local anaesthetic. The fees associated for these procedures will be quoted at the time of booking.
2. As a private patient at Charlestown Private Hospital or Lingard Private Hospital.
Other, more complex excisions can be performed by our doctors at Charlestown or Lingard Private Hospital. Day surgery procedures are carried out under twilight anaesthetic. General anaesthetic is also available if required.
